New additions at Growth Inc. strengthen Public Affairs expertise
Antwerp, 13 May 2025 – Growth Inc. is expanding its Public Affairs capabilities with the recent addition of two experienced professionals. Vicky Vanmarcke recently joined the team as Senior Consultant, while Simon Vandendriessche started as Consultant in early April. Together, they bring over fifteen years of direct experience in the Belgian political landscape to Growth Inc.
Vicky Vanmarcke has over ten years of experience in strategic communication, public affairs, and the political arena. Her deep knowledge of the political decision-making process was shaped by her roles as communications advisor to various Deputy Prime Ministers of the Flemish Government. In these positions, she developed expertise in political strategy, speechwriting, press relations, media strategy, and crisis communication. Her experience as an alderwoman in Mechelen, focusing on external communication and media relations, further deepened her understanding of local political dynamics. Vicky is known for her ability to translate complex policy issues into clear and impactful communication—an essential skill in today’s increasingly complex world.
As Consultant, Simon Vandendriessche adds a valuable mix of youthful enthusiasm and concrete political experience to the team. His background as a policy and communications advisor to several members of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives has provided him with a keen understanding of the interplay between policy, communication, and societal trends. His direct experience in local politics in Avelgem, combined with his knowledge of the national political level, makes Simon a promising asset within the Growth Inc. team.
